The week started with me taking a trip down to Cheryl’s parents house, in Palm Springs in 115+ degree heat, to ask them for permission to marry Cheryl. What followed was a whirlwind week of buying a ring, arranging for a town car to pick Cheryl up, getting friends to patiently wait for her to arrive so they could hand her cards giving her clues, getting flowers and finally getting to the top of La Cumbre Peak, setting Andrew VanGundy up with a 400mm 2.8 lens to capture it all, and then waiting for Cheryl to arrive. Needless to say, she said YES!!!!!
